Different targets ask for different capture tools, so my camera setup is split between cooled deep-sky imaging, high-frame-rate planetary work, and quick casual sessions.

Primary deep-sky imaging camera

This cooled astronomy camera is used for capturing galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, and other deep-sky targets. Its large sensor and cooling system make it well suited for long-exposure astrophotography.

This camera excels at capturing high-frame-rate video used for lucky imaging of the Moon and planets.

Seestar S50

Compact casual astrophotography setup

The Seestar S50 has become one of my favorite tools for casual astrophotography. Its compact design and simplicity make it incredibly easy to collect data, especially on nights when I want to spend more time observing and less time setting up equipment.
